Avon Moroccan Argan Oil hair care

Hi dolls,

Who hasn't heard of Moroccan Oil hair care products? I first heard about Moroccan Argan Oil a while back and then last year it kinda blew up and EVERYONE was using it. I like the Argan oil products I use at the moment and it works PERFECT but I saw this going really cheap in the Avon catalogue and HAD to try them out. So I got the whole set. Unfortunately I haven been able to use these yet because before they got delivered I ended up getting my hair put into single plait extensions for my sisters BFFs wedding.

These items came with my C15 haul and you can see that here.

So what did I get?...

Shampoo (250ml)
Catalogue price - £1.10
Conditioner (250ml)
Catalogue price - £1.10

Mask
Catalogue price - £2.20

Leave-in treatment

Bonus Item

Heat Protection Styler (100ml)

Avon C15

Hi dolls,

Its that a time again when I share with you what I bought from Avon.

I apologise that this post is up late (Ive had this stuf for about 3 weeks) and for the picture quality. I chose the wrong time to start taking pics by daylight cos before I knew it had started getting dim so I had to use my flash.

Glycerine hand and nail cream
Catalogue price - £1.25

Glycerine hand and nail cream
Catalogue price - £3.50

The Christmas AVON CARE items are starting to appear so I couldn't pass up the chance to get the limited edition packaging.

Now if you've followed my blog for a while you will know how much I love this hand cream. I always have one in my handbag. Its defo one of my most used items. As Freddie Prinze Jnr said in FRIENDS about hand cream "keeps the hands young".

Colour Style lipstick
Deal: Buy one lipstick and get one free and get a free cosmetic purse
Catalogue price - £5

Now I was so disappointed when this cam. I LOVE Very Berry and the purse but I ordered a darker pink (Pink Kiss) colour and they sent me this peptobismal looking frosty pink (palest pink) although it was labelled Pink Kiss :( Its AWFUL there is NO WAY I could pull off this colour. So I'm gonna have to give it to someone.

I will say though that they are a good quality lipstick, very creamy and not drying at all. And the staying power is good also.
Swatches:
L-R: Very Berry and Pink Kiss (AKA palest pink)

SuperShock gel eyeliner pencil - Blackberry
Catalogue price - £1.25

I dont know who created gel liner and then thought to put it in pencil form but I LOVE them. Gel liner lasts for so long, never smudges and doesnt drop after a being applied for a little while.

Swatch:
Blackberry

Spectra Lash
Catalogue price - £5 (half price)
Everytime I see this in the catalogue I've always wanted it but never wanted to pay £10 for it. It was half price in this campaign so I got it. I haven't tried it yet but I'm hoping the 3 settings are gonna be noticeable when I do eventually use it.

Protecting Lip Balm
Catalogue price - £3.20

I'm all about keeping my lips moisturised especially now as its getting colder. I'm always looking at trying different products. I haven't used this properly yet to have a full opinion on it. But I'll be sure to update on what I think.
And its also in the Christmas packaging :D

MORE nail polish. My nail polish ban lasted about a week haha, I cant help it I love nail polishes.

 Nailwear pro+ - Berry Shimmer
Catalogue price - £3

Mosaic Effect Top Coat - Gold Glimmer
Catalogue price - £6

Mosaic Effect Top Coat - Mosaic Mica
Catalogue price - £6

I'm very impressed with my nail polish purchases. Berry Shimmer needs about 2 coats to be fully opaque. I just love the colour.

I have become really fond of the Mosaic nail effect polishes. And if they keep coming up with great colours I will be a happy bunny.

Secret Fantasy EDT
Catalogue Price - £6

As I've said before Im not the best at describing scents. I know what my nose likes and it likes this perfume VERY MUCH. It has a really sweet smell to it. Will definitely be re-purchasing this bad boy again.

I did buy some hair care items but I wanna do a separate post on it, why? You can see that post here.

Maybelline Falsies Mascara

Hey dolls,

£11.95

So a few weeks back I went to France for some alcohol purchasing for my sisters best friends wedding. So while on the ferry I decided to have a mosey round Duty Free. I looked around the make up section (as you do) and they had all these deals on mascaras, now I wasn't looking at buying a new mascara until I saw the deal they had on.

So in the box you got 2 mascaras and an eye kohl pencil. All for £11.95...TOTAL BARGAIN. If you were to buy each of these separately you'd be looking at paying a maximum of £21.97 or minimum £18.97. I had maximum and minimum price cos I couldn't find this exact pencil liner or the price. So I had to base it off of other liners they do. Either way it was a pretty good deal.

This mascara is one of my favourites and does what it says on the tin by making your eyelashes all nice and long.

I haven't tried the pencil yet but I'm sure if its the same quality of the mascara I'm sure I'll like it.

What mascaras do you like?

OPI Outrageous Neons mini collection

Hey dolls,

Another lot from the sally's haul.

Neon Collection - £9.59

L-R:
White base
Ridiculously Yellow- So yellow, its beyond understanding.
Formidably Orange - Brace yourself for this powerful orange.
Riotously Pink - This pink has been known to create a scene.
Seriously Purple - I really mean it...its really purple!
Top Coat

I took one with the flash because the one I took in natural light was blurry :(

I never would've thought to use a white base nail polish to bring out the colour of a bright shadow. I don't know why I never thought about it cos you use a base to show up brighter eyeshadow...duh lol.

The brightness of these colours is NOT coming up in the photo. They are so neon and bright its not even funny.

OPI New York City Ballet Mini collection

Hey dolls,

Another addition from my Sally's haul.

 £3.20
This was a friggin steal haha, it started out as £6.40 went down to £4.16 and then when I  took it to the till it was £3.20.

L-R: My Pointe Exactly, Don't Touch My Tutu!, Care to Danse?, Pirouette My Whistle

These nail polishes are so sheer which was a little disappointing. So to try to get the true colour that it looks like in the bottle I had to apply like 3-4 coats which still didn't do much. Obviously if you're a subtle person these will be great for you.

As they re so sheer the colour didn't come out that well on camera unfortunately.

Swatches:
(The writing under each name is the description on the box)

My Pointe Exactly
See? This gorgeous sheer gray has been right all along!
Don't Touch My Tutu!
Hands off this wispy white - its all mine!

Care to Danse?
This lilac is up-to-the-minuet in fashion.

Pirouette My Whistle
Drink up! This silver sparkle is just what you need.

Avon C14

Hey dolls,

Apologies now for the quality of some of the pics, I started off taking them with natural daylight. Time got away from me and then it was dark so I could only use my flash.

NAILS

Mosaic Effect top coat nail polish - £6 each
L-R: Fiery Fuschia, Blue Flash, Gleaming Emerald, Plum Illusion, Red Lava

I've bought these before when they first came out but was not impressed with how they applied. Maybe they changed the formula (don't quote me on that haha) cos these applied great when I used them on my sister.

Avon nailwear pro+ - Licorice - £6
This needs 2 coats to opaque.

I don't think I need to go on about Avon nail polishes. I have bought many and loved them. And I'm glad they've added more colours to the mosaic and nailwear pro+ collection.

Swatches:

No this is not my hand haha its my little sister's hand. Her nails are longer than mine at the moment.
I used Licorice as a base and then applied the mosaic polishes on top.

EYES

Big Colour eye pencil - Burnished Copper and Golden Glamour
£3
And like the polishes I don't need to go on about how much I LOVE the big colour eye pencils. They come in great shades and are very pigmented. Great as eyeshadow, bases or eye liner.

Golden glamour

Burnished copper

SuperSHOCK gel eyeliner pencil - Cobalt
£2

Swatches:

L-R: Golden glamour, burnished copper, cobalt

BAGS

I'm a sucker for these types of bags from Avon and I have ONE TOO MANY. But I HAD to have these 2. I mean who doesn't love Hello Kitty and Antler bags are good quality. These will come in handy as my sister's best friend/adopted family member is getting married and we're staying at a hotel so I'm  for sure using this and may get use out of my other overnight bags that I've blogged about.

Hello Kitty Weekender Bag - £12

Antler Weekender bag - £15
(when you spend £10 or more on selected make up)

Re-purchases:

Strong results- £1.25
Grow Potion x2 - £1.50 each

 True Colour blush - Russett - £1.75
