I'm finally back to doing my music series. I've missed sharing my taste in music and fave songs with you guys. I love when other people share their musical interest, that way you can find a band or solo artist that you've never heard of. Or find an new genre that you didn't think you'd like.And today we're having a major throwback, I'm talking circa 1995-2002. That's right I'm talking about one of the most loved boy bands of the 90s and early 00s...NSYNC!

Hey guys and dolls,

Probably in the last year or so I started to give country songs a chance, before I was an avid country song loather. But some of them are pretty decent, especially the ones with a pop vibe. I got introduced to this by Meganheartsmakeup, she was talking about how she'd seen this song performed live and was a fan. I'd never heard of Kacey Musgraves before but I really appreciated the lyrics of this song.

It's Sunday, which means it's time to do a music post for you. I really love doing these, because you guys get an insight into my world of music. My music taste varies a lot, I pretty much like all styles of music. I've even come around to liking some country music, which I was dead against back in the day, dunno why.

Anyhow album of the week is the Cruel Intentions OST (Original Soundtrack). I absolutely love this movie, every time I watch it or hear the songs from it, it takes me back to a nostalgic happy place.

This is last weeks band of the week, dunno why this didn't go up. I've been having quite the throwback the last few weeks. And Evanescence has been on repeat a lot. Listening to them takes me back to my emotional teens lol.

Song of the week: Fancy by Iggy Azalea

Hey guys and dolls,

I wouldn't say I'm an Iggy fan, but I did enjoy her first single ALOT. I haven't really been feeling her other releases much. But as soon as the video dropped for her single "FANCY" I was hooked. The song is super catchy, I find myself signing the chorus all the time. The voice behind the chorus is Charli XCX. I got the pleasure of seeing Charli XCX open for Paramore last year.

I had mentioned that I wanted to start incorporating music into my blog. Music is a huge part of my life and I wanted to share that passion on here. I will post either a band, artist, song or album of the week that I've been loving.

The title of this post makes me wanna breakout into song and sing the classic by David Bowie.

As you can guess a change is a coming to Sonya Loves Makeup again. Not a big change, so don't worry.

Some people say change isn't necessarily a good thing, and they're right...sometimes. But change is what keeps things interesting.
