Avon Haul Part 2

Hey dolls,

Here is part 2 of the Avon haul. You can see part 1 here.

Infinitize Mascara

This brush is so scary looking, and its kinda sharp. I find it really uncomfortable to use. Maybe I'm using it wrong I dunno but I'm not a huge fan of it. I haven't really picked it up to use it since I first purchased it for the reasons stated but I am gonna give it another go and see if I can make it work.

"Contains lash sculpting, lengthening fibres and curling molecule to help shape and set lash curve and length for 24 hours."

 ColorTrend Lasting Smile Lip Paint

Another ColorTrend newbie.
I don't love these, but I don't hate them. I'm kind of indifferent.
The formula is nice but I don't like how it applies on the lips.

 Nocturnal
Gorgeous burgundy red. The name is fitting cos when I saw the shade I instantly thought Vampiress.

 Lolita
This colour rubs me up the wrong way. I just don't like it. When you swatch it it doesn't look how it does in the stick. And when I apply it to my lips I just feel like you can barely see it.

 Melon Drama
This shade is too light for me, so its going into my make up kit.

Left to right: Nocturnal, Lolita, Melon Drama

 Be...JOYFUL perfume
A light and fruity perfume that's great for the daytime. The bottle is a good size to chuck in your purse/handbag for topping up throughout the day.

SuperSHOCK Lip Gloss:
Pumped Up Plum
Tickled Pink
I love these lip glosses, I have almost the entitre collection but one...I think. They leave your lips looking super slick and shiny. And the applicator is one of my faves.

When I first saw Pumped Up Plum (which you cant really see from the pic), I thought it was gonna be too dark could seem a bit intimidating, but when I swatched it I found that not to be the case.

Tickled Pink is a bit too light for me so I'm gonna throw it into my make up kit.

Left: Plumped Up Plum
Right: Tickled Pink

Always On Point Eyeliner - Black
I only use 2 eyeliners, MAC fluidline in Black Track and Avon SuperSHOCK pencil. But when I saw this I wanted to try it cos it had a really good selling point, a sharpener in the lid. So you can always have your eyeliner ready to create precise lines.

Adalina Earrings
Like I said in part 1 of the haul Ive been broadening my jewellery collection and trying to find some cute bits for the summer (what little summer England is giving us...like literally "Get your s**t together Carol" haha). I'm starting to embrace gold jewellery. I tend to go for silver, white gold or platinum jewellery cos I can findit more elegant, some gold jewellerycan be a bit chavvy/tacky. But I'm starting to like it.

AVON C2 Haul

Hey dolls,
Campaign 2

SuperSHOCK liner
£2.99

Flash
I got this one because I wanted to try that whole using a lighter colour on the water line to make the eyes pop but its too frosty and too light for me. The good thing about being a make up artist is when I don't like a product I purchase I'll just add it to my kit.

Aqua Pop
Love this. Such a lovely blue, I used this on my waterline when I wore a smokey eye, it just gave it that tiny pop of colour but no too in your face. I love these eyeliners. I'm forever repurchasing it in black. Great for the waterline or the upper lash line. And they last for AGES.

SuperShock Lip Shine
These are currently my FAVOURITE lip glosses. I repurchased Ravishing Rose and thought I'd try pink indulgence, its a bit too pink for me, I might try and mix it with a lipstick or another gloss and if that doesn't work it will go in my professional make up kit.

Ravishing Rose
My favourite things about these glosses is their thickness, opacity, colour pay off and most importantly the applicator.

Pink Indulgence

L: Pink Indulgence
R: Ravishing Rose

Eyeshadow Primer
£3.99
I bought this because I've been looking for a new primer. I used to use MACs prep and prime religiously. Then I switched to AVON's superSHOCK eyeshadow pencil as they come in loads of different colours. I'm really happy with it, Every time I've worn make up I've used this and my eyeshadow has lasted all night. And for the price it is you cant go wrong.

AVON Care

Protecting lip balm (spf15) - £2.20
I'm always trying out lip balms for when I do my face routine, I saw this and it was going quite cheap so I thought I'd pic k it up and give it a go. I like it, its thick but not too thick and very moisturising.
Glycerine hand and nail cream - £3.50
If you've followed my blog for a while you'd know I swear by these hand creams. I have a stock pile of these on my beauty cabinet. And I always have one in my handbag. Its very moisturising. Great product, one of my staples.

If you couldn't tell from the packaging these are rose scented. Now I'm not the biggest rose fan but if a product is good enough I will put that to one side.

Disclaimer: I know I post ALOT about Avon but that's because I love their products and have access to catalogues all the time (cos I'm a representative). Its also due to laziness I can shop for make up from the comfort of my own home and not have to pay for it upfront until the order comes through. But I have a few posts coming up that are not Avon related and I'm gonna make more of an effort to shop on the high street. Not just because of my blog but because I need to switch it up a little.

superSHOCK lipgloss

Hi guys,

This is one of the best lipglosses I've ever tried. I seriously love them.

SuperSHOCK lipgloss - £2.50

Its not sticky like some lipglosses are but not gross and runny. I don't top it up often (unless I've had a drink or food - but that expected obviously).

The colours show up like they do in the packaging, which I didn't expect.

I love these lip glosses and the applicator us the best applicator Ive used.

Melon Madness

Ravishing Rose

Do you see how pigmented they are? Brilliant.

I don't have a bad word to say about these glosses.

Have you tried these lipglosses before and what are your thoughts?

Avon C15

Hi dolls,

Its that a time again when I share with you what I bought from Avon.

I apologise that this post is up late (Ive had this stuf for about 3 weeks) and for the picture quality. I chose the wrong time to start taking pics by daylight cos before I knew it had started getting dim so I had to use my flash.

Glycerine hand and nail cream
Catalogue price - £1.25

Glycerine hand and nail cream
Catalogue price - £3.50

The Christmas AVON CARE items are starting to appear so I couldn't pass up the chance to get the limited edition packaging.

Now if you've followed my blog for a while you will know how much I love this hand cream. I always have one in my handbag. Its defo one of my most used items. As Freddie Prinze Jnr said in FRIENDS about hand cream "keeps the hands young".

Colour Style lipstick
Deal: Buy one lipstick and get one free and get a free cosmetic purse
Catalogue price - £5

Now I was so disappointed when this cam. I LOVE Very Berry and the purse but I ordered a darker pink (Pink Kiss) colour and they sent me this peptobismal looking frosty pink (palest pink) although it was labelled Pink Kiss :( Its AWFUL there is NO WAY I could pull off this colour. So I'm gonna have to give it to someone.

I will say though that they are a good quality lipstick, very creamy and not drying at all. And the staying power is good also.
Swatches:
L-R: Very Berry and Pink Kiss (AKA palest pink)

SuperShock gel eyeliner pencil - Blackberry
Catalogue price - £1.25

I dont know who created gel liner and then thought to put it in pencil form but I LOVE them. Gel liner lasts for so long, never smudges and doesnt drop after a being applied for a little while.

Swatch:
Blackberry

Spectra Lash
Catalogue price - £5 (half price)
Everytime I see this in the catalogue I've always wanted it but never wanted to pay £10 for it. It was half price in this campaign so I got it. I haven't tried it yet but I'm hoping the 3 settings are gonna be noticeable when I do eventually use it.

Protecting Lip Balm
Catalogue price - £3.20

I'm all about keeping my lips moisturised especially now as its getting colder. I'm always looking at trying different products. I haven't used this properly yet to have a full opinion on it. But I'll be sure to update on what I think.
And its also in the Christmas packaging :D

MORE nail polish. My nail polish ban lasted about a week haha, I cant help it I love nail polishes.

 Nailwear pro+ - Berry Shimmer
Catalogue price - £3

Mosaic Effect Top Coat - Gold Glimmer
Catalogue price - £6

Mosaic Effect Top Coat - Mosaic Mica
Catalogue price - £6

I'm very impressed with my nail polish purchases. Berry Shimmer needs about 2 coats to be fully opaque. I just love the colour.

I have become really fond of the Mosaic nail effect polishes. And if they keep coming up with great colours I will be a happy bunny.

Secret Fantasy EDT
Catalogue Price - £6

As I've said before Im not the best at describing scents. I know what my nose likes and it likes this perfume VERY MUCH. It has a really sweet smell to it. Will definitely be re-purchasing this bad boy again.

I did buy some hair care items but I wanna do a separate post on it, why? You can see that post here.

Avon C14

Hey dolls,

Apologies now for the quality of some of the pics, I started off taking them with natural daylight. Time got away from me and then it was dark so I could only use my flash.

NAILS

Mosaic Effect top coat nail polish - £6 each
L-R: Fiery Fuschia, Blue Flash, Gleaming Emerald, Plum Illusion, Red Lava

I've bought these before when they first came out but was not impressed with how they applied. Maybe they changed the formula (don't quote me on that haha) cos these applied great when I used them on my sister.

Avon nailwear pro+ - Licorice - £6
This needs 2 coats to opaque.

I don't think I need to go on about Avon nail polishes. I have bought many and loved them. And I'm glad they've added more colours to the mosaic and nailwear pro+ collection.

Swatches:

No this is not my hand haha its my little sister's hand. Her nails are longer than mine at the moment.
I used Licorice as a base and then applied the mosaic polishes on top.

EYES

Big Colour eye pencil - Burnished Copper and Golden Glamour
£3
And like the polishes I don't need to go on about how much I LOVE the big colour eye pencils. They come in great shades and are very pigmented. Great as eyeshadow, bases or eye liner.

Golden glamour

Burnished copper

SuperSHOCK gel eyeliner pencil - Cobalt
£2

Swatches:

L-R: Golden glamour, burnished copper, cobalt

BAGS

I'm a sucker for these types of bags from Avon and I have ONE TOO MANY. But I HAD to have these 2. I mean who doesn't love Hello Kitty and Antler bags are good quality. These will come in handy as my sister's best friend/adopted family member is getting married and we're staying at a hotel so I'm  for sure using this and may get use out of my other overnight bags that I've blogged about.

Hello Kitty Weekender Bag - £12

Antler Weekender bag - £15
(when you spend £10 or more on selected make up)

Re-purchases:

Strong results- £1.25
Grow Potion x2 - £1.50 each

 True Colour blush - Russett - £1.75
