AVON Haul

Hello all,

Back again with another post. As an AVON representative, I tend to purchase things when placing orders for my customers (I always end up spending WAY too much). So here is the latest order of mine. I was very impressed with the stuff I bought. If you don’t have any AVON products I defo suggest you look online or find a rep in your area cos they have very high quality products at reasonable prices.

Country Rose Compartment Beauty Holder (Standing up) - £4.20
This is the CUTEST thing, when I saw it I was like I NEED this. Its sits so nicely on my vanity table with all my other beauty products I keep my Simple face stuff in there.
 (The Inside)

Jewellery Stand - £6.00
I was so happy when this came in the post, I've been looking for one of these but all the ones I've seen are so overpriced so when I saw this one for £6 I added it to my order.

Little Black Dress Eau de Parfum and Body Spray - £9

I’m not gonna try and describe the perfume scents to you because I am so not good a describing smells. The only thing I can say is that they are very much scents that suit me and I love them all.

Little White Dress Eau de Parfum  - £13

Incandessence Eau de Parfum Spray - £2.00 (when you bought one perfume you got the other for just £2)

Naturals Strawberry and Guava Shake Body Lotion - £0.99 (nice but the scent is a bit overpowering)
Avon Care Glycerine Hand Cream - £0.75 my sister swears by this so I thought I would pick one up, thought it might help me while I’m trying to grow back my nails. Will update you with how I find it.

Nail Experts Liquid Freeze Quick Dry Spray 50ml (4-for £10.00)
This spray is brilliant. Does exactly what it says on the tin (well bottle haha) If you're in a rush and wanna paint your nails but don’t have the time to wait for them to dry this s definitely the product for you.

Glimmersticks Diamond Eyeliner Smokey Diamond - £2.75
This eyeliner has a smooth application, and is really good for when you want a hint of colour on the eyes.

Luxe Lace SuperSHOCK Gel Eyeliner Pencil Black - £2.45
This is really good, I had heard so much about this but everytime I looked they were never in the catalogue. So they've finally brought it back, so I obviously had tot get one. It goes on so easy and smudgeproof.

Glimmerstick Diamonds Eyeliner Emerald Glow - £2.75
 (See descriptions for Smoky Diamond)

Swatches: Top to bottom - Emerald Glow, Supershock gel liner, Smoky Diamond

Dana Bird Cage Necklace - £3.00
This necklace is so cute (I use this word too much lol, but it is...Its a bird in a cage)

Nail Polish

Excuse my bad swatches, my nails are all short and gross so I had to borrow my little sisters hand. And the angles were all off, so yeah. I tried my best to get some OK shots.

Nail Experts Peeling & Brittleness Solver 12ml (4-for £10.00) Hope this helps my nails to gorw. Will update if I see any improvements of the condition of my nails.

Avon Matte Nail Enamel Inky Blue (4-for £10.00) The matte nail polishes from AVON are AMAZING! They dry so quickly and the matte affect is pretty cool.

Speed Dry+ Nail Enamel Strawberry (4-for £10.00) This polish needs 1-2 coats.

Avon Matte Nail Enamel Black as Night (4-for £10.00)

Speed Dry+ Nail Enamel Twilight Blue (4-for £10.00) - this polish is a close dupe to Barry M "Navy"

Nailwear Pro Nail Enamel Blue Shock (4-for £10.00)
This polish is very sheer and needs about 2-3 coats for an even finish, but once dry is so nice, never had a nail polish colour like this. (I’m annoyed that they're discontinuing this.)

Arabian Glow Nailwear Funky Fuchsia  - £3.00 This polish is super bright.

Arabian Glow Nailwear Sunshine - £3.00 This needs 1-2 coats fror an even finish.

If you dont own any Avon nail polishes advise you to go out and get some.

ps I hope you enjoyed this post, I’m really gonna try to not let it go so long without doing a post. I have a Nail Polish haul coming up. And maybe a Sleek palette review if I can mange to get the Natural palette tomorrow.

Flavoured Lip Balms

Hello all,

Wow its been about a month since I last poster anything. And for that I am sorry. Like I stated in previous post,  I have started a new job, the hours are up and down because I work shifts and I have to travel far, so I'm always tired, so what little energy I have, I try and get some stuff sorted at home that I don't usually have time for or I'm sleeping lol. So let's get started. I have 2 post for you today. The first one as you can tell from the title is about lip balms.

So a while back I bought the Sprite and Vanilla Coca Cola lip balm from Primark. I then went back and got all excited bought 2 more. They were £1.50 each and the flavours I have are Coca Cola, Sprite, Cherry Coca Cola and Vanilla Coca Cola. They all manage to keep my lips somewhat moist (I dunno why but saying moist sounds kinda wrong lol but I don't know what other word to use) but it doesn't last long, but the smells of these are SO GOOD!
And you're probably thinking well you've only mentioned 4 and there are 5 in the picture, and one of those is NOT one of the drinks lip balms. Well this one I got from Avon a while back, I cannot remember how much I paid for this but it wasn't expensive at all. This is a nice lip balm, it keeps my lips from feeling dry, the only problem I have is the smell of this lip balm is too much, the smell is too strong and overwhelming to the point it sometimes makes me feel nauseous :(

Sleek Make up Haul

Hello all,

I'm finally back with a blog post. A couple weeks back I ordered a few items from Sleek makeup, which I tweeted about, but since I've been so so busy with my new job I just have not had the time to blog, and with the little free time I did have I'd be chilling cos I'd just be so tired from work.

But as I have the day off  today I thought I would finally get around to posting about the stuff I bought.
Caribbean Collection (Limited Edition)

Curacao - £6.49

"Embrace the exotic colours of paradise with the 12 shades of the Curacao i-Divine. From deep sea blue’s to zesty oranges and vivid coral’s, create endless striking looks using contrasting shades or make an entrance with an effortless sweep of colour.  For the ultimate exotic look, team with Aruba blush and Bonaire Pout Polish."
Top L-R: Tequila Sunrise, Martini, Blue Hawaii, Bloody Mary, Screwdriver, Green Iguana
Bottom L-R: Apres Midori, Blue Lagoon, Purple Haze, Green Martini, Singapore Sling, Espresso Martini
This palette is GORGEOUS!!!!!! You couldn't ask for more out of a palette, the colours really represent the collection. So bright and pigmented. I love it. The only disappopining thing is the yellow eyeshadow isn't very pigmented on my skin. I'd give the palette 4.5 out of 5. Its still available in store and online so I would defo get yourself down to your local Superdrug or on the sleek website and purchase this bad boy, :)

 Aruba Blush - £4.30

"Aruba blush provides the ultimate colour of paradise, sweep on lightly for a tropical wash of coral or layer to build an intense holiday hue.  Team with the Curacao i-Divine and Bonaire pout polish to complete your colourful Caribbean inspired look."
 Bonaire pout polish - £4.30
"Get luscious lips with Bonaire pout polish, the tangerine tinted gloss is enriched with jojoba, avocado, and sweet almond oil as well as SPF15, so you can simmer away in summer’s rays whilst your pout remains perfectly protected.  Team with Curacao i-Divine and Aruba blush for this summer’s essential holiday collection."
I lost the picture of the swatches of the lip gloss and blush. The lip gloss has a slight hint of orange when applied and it has a nice scent which is fitting for the collection, its kinda coconut-y the blush is pretty much what you see is what you get, its very bright, but it is build-able. I like to mix Aruba with Santorini (Mediterranean collection)

Oh So Special - £6.49 (Limited Edition)

"It’s the ultimate i-Divine that every woman should have in her possession, with 12 flattering on-trend shades to suit all skin tones no matter what the occasion, the Oh So Special palette will always deliver the perfect results. Take your look from day time chic with matte browns and creamy beiges, through to sultry evening glamour with shimmering grays and smokey plums. A make-up bag staple and a must-have i-Divine you can rely on, so no matter where you are or what you’re doing you’ll look Oh So Special!"

Top L-R: Bow, Organza, Ribbon, Gift Basket, Glitz, Celebrate
Bottom L-R: Pamper, Gateau, The Mail, Boxed, Wrapped Up, Noir
This palette reminds of me of the Storm palette, with obvious differences, but the main similarity is that you can create neutral and dramatic eye looks with this. I defo will be using this palette to create a Smoky eye. The colours are really pigmented, like ALL Sleek palettes. I couldn't manage to purchase the palette in ANY Superdrug store cos they were sold out, much like the Curacao palette. So I would make sure you go online and buy this palette.I'd give this palette a 4.5 out of 5.
Scandalous Blush £4.30
"The silky-fine formulation provides long lasting blusher which helps to create a subtle but radiant cheek area.
Apply using a small powder/blusher brush, by swirling the brush over the surface of the blusher. Tap off excess powder and apply onto the apples of the cheeks to emphasise your cheeks and your smile, or just below the cheek bone to create a sculpted look."
The blush is a nice colour that can be used for day or night as its build-able, it can give you that subtle hint of colour and then you can amp it up for the evening.
Eyebrow pencil in Brown - £2.59
"A creamy formula pencil used to fill in, shape and define eyebrows without smudging or flaking."
I don't usually use eyebrow pencil, I normally use eyeshadow, but I thought I might mix it up and try a pencil instead. That is when I bother to do my eyebrows haha. I do find that pencil is a lot more, what's the word I'm looking for? Erm...its a lot more daring than I'm used to, cos it's a lot more full on than how I would normally do my eyebrows. I just need to get past that initial..."WHOA!" stage.
Kohl Eyeliner pencil in Black - £2.59
"An ultra creamy-matte formula pencil used to define the eyes."
My MAC Smolder kohl pencil is coming up to a nub, so I thought I might try Sleeks Kohl eyeliner pencil. So far I like it.
Eye Drama mascara in Black Out - £4
"This state of the art mascara has an ultra flexible silicone brush. The formulation contains nylon fibres adding both length and volume to each lash, creating a dramatic effect."
This is a great mascara, I could see an instant difference and I love the wand. I never used a wand like the one that comes with this mascara. I'm a big fan :)

Free Gift - Mini High shine lip gloss in the colour "In your Dreams"

The colour isn't coming out too well in the photo, but what is in the packaging is what comes out on the lips. Gorgeous colour and really nice scent to it as well :)

Hope you enjoyed the post. I should hopefully get another one up tomorrow or Sunday :o)

HELLOOOOO!

Hi guys,

OK so I said that once I finished college I would start blogging more regularly etc etc. I finished college last week and have yet to put up a blog post, the last one that went up was in the middle of  June its now the beginning of July *hangs head*

Well basically the reason I haven't been blogging is literally 2 days after I officially finished college I started a new job, its my first paying job since 2009 and its weird hours and days. So whenever I have had free time I have been chillaxing cos working full time-ish has kinda taken it out of me. So today is my day off and I have been chillaxing watching watching Sex and the city series 3 and enjoying the fact that I have had no coursework and nothing to do (education wise) for the first time since I started secondary school in 2000.

So I'm not looking to stay in this job for a long time cos its a temp job (which could turn permanent) and I really don't  like it. So I think I'm gonna try and stick it out for a month and then start a different job. So I'm off again on Wednesday and Saturday so I will try and get some posts up on those days :)

Thanks for understanding and bearing with me. I love you all :)
