Sleek Mediterranean Collection/FOTD

So last Wednesday (8th June) Sleek came out with a fabulous collection called the Mediterranean collection. I manged to get mine on the Friday, I literally ran to Superdrug haha

It comes with:
"Inspired by the Mediterranean, this 12 shade palette is the perfect addition to your summer make-up. Choose from sunset oranges and browns, or breezy turquoise to highlight your holiday tan! Best worn with our hot pink Monte Carlo pout polish and Santorini blush to achieve the perfect Mediterranean summer look."  - from the website.

 Monaco eyeshadow palette
Top L-R: Bamboo, Aquamarine, Midnight garden, Sunset, Washed Ashore, Magenta Madness
Bottom L-R:  Summer Breeze, Sand Walker, Kiwi Zest, Lotus Flower, Humming Bird, Moors Treasure

This palette is AMAZING!! The colours are SO pigmented, as you can see from the picture below. I saw a post on this by Bubblegarm and I was SO SO excited to purchase this collection. My favourite's are...OK so I just tried to pick my favourite and I can't haha

Monte Carlo Pout Polish it comes out very sheer, but it does give your lips a nice touch of colour. And it doesn't give you that gross sticky thing that some lip glosses do.

Santorini blush
Santorini blush is INSANE, when I saw it I could not believe the vibrancy of this colour. It does not fail once on the skin, it is very build-able, but if I went any brighter I would have looked like a clown or an 80s reject haha
I couldn't be more happy with this collection. I give it 5 out of 5. If you do not own this collection, go get it NOW!!!! You can get Sleek at Superdrugs or on the Sleek website. Seriously get it before its sold out :)

Here are two eye looks I tried out, while I was playing with the palette..
NOTE: Please ignore the terrible state my eyebrows are in, they need serious plucking.

The colours used were: Kiwi Zest first part of the lid and Humming bird on the outer corner of the lid and bamboo as a highlight.

Sandwalker on the main part of the lid and Moors Treasure on the outer part of the lid and Bamboo as a highlight.

So after playing around I decided to do a full face of make up using the entire collection.

I would run to your nearest superdrug and get this collection the blush and pout polish were going fast. I luckily got the LAST Santorini on the shelf...yay me :-)

Sleek Avoir la peche collection - PARAGUAYA Palette

OK so ages and ages ago Sleek came out with a collection, which revolved around peachy toned colours.

The collection came with:
  • Eyeshadow palette
  • Blush
  • Pout Polish

I didn't buy the blush or pout polish as they were too light for my skin tone, but I did pick up the eyeshadow Paraguaya palette.

The colours from L-R are:
Top L-R: Parfait, Blush, Cameo, Persian Orange, Peach Gold, Sandstone
Bottom L-R: Bellini, Redstone,Pesimmon, Tangelo, Bittersweet, Stone

I was quite happy with this palette. Only problem is this palette is for all skin tones so not all the colours were suitable for me i.e. blush, sandstone, redstone and persimmon. But it is still a very good quality palette. The eyeshdows are just like every other sleek palette, good colour pay off, not chalky, great texture and can be used for any occasion.

I give this palette 4 out of 5 it would of got 5 but as I cant use all the colours I cant give it top ratings :)

This palette isn't available anymore but if you are able to locate anywhere online I would buy it.

My next post will be on Sleeks most recent collection the Mediterranean collection.

NOTD!

Here is another NOTD!!!! I know very boring and repetitive, but still got a tonne of coursework to do, so this is the quickest thing I can post.

The colour on my nails is OPI's Privacy Please.

I'm not sure how much I paid for this  because I got this nail polish in like 2008 (wow that's along time, and look how much is still there, too be fair I don't use this polish alot)

I like the look this light pink gives my nails, I dunno they just look more sophisticated hahaha :/

I'm done with college in like *checks calendar*  HOLY S***!!!!! 3 WEEKS!!!!!!

Yeah so I will be posting much much more in due course. Thanks again for bearing with me through this :)
