Avon C12

Hey dolls,

Just a little haul from Avon, this one turned up a little earlier than expected due to an error with my order online, which I am not complaining about cos its here over a week early :) *does happy dance*

So here is what I got...

 Dramatic Beauty Bonus
Free (worth £20) when you bought 2 or more selected items. I got this mainly for the cosmetics bag, yes I know another one to add to the collection.
In the set you get:
  • ANEW Genics Treatment Concentrate trial size (which I wont be using)
  • Black and purple cosmetics bag
  • Nailwear pro+ in Plum Seduction
  • Ultra Colour Rich lipstick shimmer in Frozen Rose
Ultra Colour Rich lipstick shimmer in Frozen Rose
A nice nude pink (but not too nude). I can actually wear this and it look good.

 Nailwear pro+ in Plum Seduction
I have so many purple polishes, but none of them are the same, they all differ and I'm glad this one does the same. This was opaque after 2 coats and I'm really happy with it :)

Shine Attract Lip Gel - Shining Cherry
It says that these are supposed to improve lip moisture. I will update you on that once I've used it properly. I'm sure this will become a favourite of mine as I really liked the shine attract lipsticks.

Disappointing Product

Hey dolls,

I cant remember when Avon came out with their Matte nail polishes but I swatched them and then kinda forgot about them. But I recently sorted out all my nail polishes and thought I'd start wearing them.

Avon matte nail polish - Grey Cement
So the polish didn't exactly go on evenly as you can see in the pic. But I managed to fix it. But after I'd sorted my nails and went about my day (which consisted of me sitting on my butt all day watching telly lol) this happened to my nails throughout the day...

Its like it was just peeling off. I then went out and again wasn't really using my hands and the nail polish just kept falling off, it was the strangest thing. I felt so embarrassed on the train when people could see my nails.

What are your disappointing products?

NOTD - Glitterball nails

Hey dolls,

Its been a while since I've done a NOTD. but I'm back on track tyring to grow my nails. And the length is improving so I'm painting my nails again.

Ciate nail polish
L-R: Confetti, Cream Soda
Confetti is the most glittery nail polish I have ever owned. And it actually isn't given justice in the pictures. You could wear it on its own that's how much the glitter comes out on the nails. But I chose to wear it over Cream Soda. And I love it. I've gotten lots of compliments on my nails :)

Avon C11

Hey dolls,

So I'm back again with an Avon haul, which I think is fair as I have posted about other stuff recently :) And I do have a few other different things to post about coming up :)

Glycerine hand & nail cream XXL
I 've used this cream for nearly 2 years now and its amazing.I always carry it around in my handbag.
Catalogue price - £1.75

 Black and Silver vanity bag
I have way too many cosmetic/toiletries bags but this was too cute to pass up along with the stuff that came with it in the set. (See items below)
Catalogue price - £4.99

 Glycerine hand and nail cream
I got this cos of the Limited Edition packaging, I purchased this before but it was in the "last chance to buy" section and it was only 89p so thought why not.
Catalogue price - 89p

Skin So Soft - Silky Moisture - Ultra Moisturising Body Lotion
I love this body lotion, I'm always complaining about most moisturisers not working for my skin type but this one is a surprise and it worked like 85% which is MUCH better than most.
Catalogue price - £4

Outspoken Intense By Fergie body spray
This came with the vanity bag.
Smells lovely which I expected as I have the purse to match. I'm gonna carry this around in my purse for whenever I need a little freshen up throughout the day.

 Crusade Baking Set

  • 6 silicone cases
  • 1 breast cancer ribbon cookie cutter
  • 1 heart shaped cookie cutter

Coral Reef  - £1

Glimmerstick lip liner - Perfect Plum
Catalogue price - £1

Swatches:
 Lip liner
Staying power of this lip liner is good times so I'm impressed :) I line my lips, fill them in and then apply my lipstick which makes it last a lot longer. As impressed as I am I did think this would be like a real plum, its more like a plumy-brown.

Nail polish
Well we all know I am a big fan of most Avon nail polish (a post coming up on why its not ALL) and these are no exception. If you don't own any avon nail polish I dunno what you're doing with your life haha they are brilliant.(To note this was purchased before I went on my nail polish buying ban)

Sleek haul

Hey dolls,

So I was having a look on the sleek website a while back and I initially went on there with the intentions of buying the Ultra Matte palettes. But unfortunately they only had the brights, I really wanted V2 (which is still out of stock), and its not in store either :( So I keep checking back in the hopes its there but alas.

So any who, enough with my gibber jabber. On with the haul...

My goodies

Eau la la liners - £4
Top: Dragonfruit
Bottom: Moulin Rouge
Really love these pencils. I love the fact that you can use them for your eyes, lips and eyebrows. I'm a big fan of versatile products. I bought these for the sole purpose of being a lip liner. But I have had an idea as I'm writing this for something I can use these for :) The staying power of these is brilliant. I would eat and drink with this on and it wouldn't budge.

My free gift - Mini Mega shine lipgloss - Original

Glossed Lip gloss  Packs a punch - £3.59
This is my first lipgloss from Sleek and the colour is gorgeous. The only thing I don't like is the applicator. I prefer doe foot applicators.

Without flash
Ultra Matte V1 brights palette - £7
Top L-R: Chill, Pout, Sugarlite, Dragonfly, Pucker, Bammi
Bottom L-R: Cricket, Bolt, Strike, Floss, Crete, Pow!
 With flash

Swatches:

Top to bottom:
Packs a punch
Original
Dragon fruit
Moulin Rouge

L-R: Chill, Pout, Sugarlite, Dragonfly, Pucker, Bammi
Sadly the yellow did not show up on my skintone. I have yet to find a yellow that looks as pigmented as it does in the pan.I'm hoping if I use it along with the sleek primer palette it will show up more vibrant (fingers crossed).
L-R: Cricket, Bolt, Strike, Floss, Crete, Pow!
Like the yellow, the orange didn't show up too bright, but I'm hoping if I use the primer it will show up better. I'll update on this later.

NAILED polish - Turquoise - £3.89
Like the lipgloss, this nail polish was a first. And I can happily say that I I am very impressed. And this is the first of many purchases I will be making (not for a while though as I'm on a nail polish buying ban - I have way too many)

Evans mini shoe haul

Hey dolls,

So one was in need of some new shoes. and I was having a little look see on the Evans website. They're the only place I buy shoes. So I made a cheeky little purchase. I bought some other items but their not suitable to post online haha.

Evans Black Bow Detail Wedge Shoes - £25
I fell in love with these shoes on when I saw them. I don't tend to wear anything with a heel on cos I'm 5ft 8' so when I wear heels I look like an amazonian giant haha. But I love these too much to care.

Evans Black Structured Bow Ballerina - £19.50
I got these cos I needed a new pair of flats. The leather on the soles are so soft and so comfortable.

I dunno what happened to the right foot of the ballet flats. Its all out of shape and I havent even worn them yet. :/ I might take them into Evans to see if can get a replacement foot (a replacement foot...what???) or more sensibly a replacement pair. Oh goodness haha.

Avon Haul C10

Hi dolls,

OK so as I said in my last blog post, I had an Avon haul to put up and here it is.

I bought one of these last year to put my facial stuff in and also to save space on my dressing table and I loved it and was so annoyed that I hadn't gotten 2 of them. So I saw that it was listed as limited stock and thought right I'm getting it.
Country Rose Compartment Beauty Holder - £3

It has a front compartment
2 compartments on the inside
 And a back compartment

Nailwear Pro nail polish - Chery Jubilee -£1
This colour is gorgeous. Its a deep cherry red. You'll need about 2 coats for an even finish. And make sure to use a base coat. Another note is this nail polish is pain to remove and goes all over your fingers. But that wont deter me from wearing it.
I got this nail polish on offer.

Naturals Strawberry and White Chocolate collection
Theses products smell AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! They smell like sweets. after I used it I just sat there sniffing my hands haha.
In the collection you get 3 items.
Hand and Body lotion -  If you suffer from dry skin this isn't gonna do much for you. But if you don't then Id defo go and buy this
Shower gel - not much to say on this is just your standard shower gel
Room and linen spray - I love spraying this on my clothes and then throwing them in the tumble dryer, the smell really soaks in. And My room constantly smells of this spray.
Catalogue price - £9.60

Ideal Luminous Blush  - Russet

This is a gorgeous blusher. It  can be subtle and add just a flush of colour to the cheeks. Or if you want it a bit stronger just build up the colour. This has been my go to blush since I got it.
Catalogue price - £6.50

Swatch:

Color Trend
They have re-vamped the packaging for the color trend collection and they came out with a few new shades of lipstick, eyeshadows.

Eyeshadow Duo
I've never tried ColorTrend eyeshadwos before so I only got 2. I'm very happy with the pigmentation and look forward to wearing them. I chose Violetta to see if their brighter colours would show up on me and I chose Chocolate kiss for the more natural days.
L: Violetta
R: Chocolate Kiss
Catalogue price - £4.50
Pencil Play Eyeliner in Turquoise.
Catalogue price - £3

Swatches:
Top row: Turquoise
Middle row: Violetta and Chocolate Kiss

Kiss 'n' Go lipstick

This lipstick are great. They are very pigmented and come in a range of colours to suit all skin tones. I'm a big fan of the ColorTrend range. I'm gonna try out their new nail polishes next.I know the colours are quite similar but they are different I promise :) I'm trying to branch out my colour range.
 Catalogue price - £3.75

Read my lips lip gloss in Kiss Kiss
I've only bought one other lip gloss in this range and it wasn't that pigmented. So I was really surprised when I swatched this how pigmented the product is. I'm very impressed.
Catalogue price - £3.75

Swatches:

Poppy Love, Doll Pink (top 2), Passion, Rich Ruby (Bottom 2). To the right: Kiss Kiss.

Polka dot Earrings Set
These are so cute. I love stud earrings. The main reason I wanted this set was the heart earrings, love them.
