Addicted to Pretty.
A delicious fix for colour fiends! Sugarpill palettes offer bold combinations of richly pigmented, luxury pressed powders in striking hues. The velvety smooth texture allows flawless application and superior blending.

Let me tell you the Sugarpill booth was poppin'. It was insane the amount of people that were queueing up to buy and meet Amy. I kind of had an idea of what I wanted to get, and although I've always wanted Sugarpill products I didn't wanna go HAM. But now that I've had the opportunity to try their products, I would love to add to my collection in the future.

Burning Heart palette

The Burning Heart palette comes with four crazy bright colours.

Flamepoint – matte orange.
Buttercupcake – bright matte yellow.
Love+ – matte red.
Poison Plum – matte violet with flex of blue shimmer. The shimmer doesn't show up though when you apply it.

Flamepoint, Love+ and Poison Plum have a tendency to stain.

Shadows on top of a white base, the colours are a lot more vibrant.

Sweetheart palette

The sweetheart palette doesn't disappoint with the brightness factor either.

Dollipop - matte bright pink.
Afterparty - electric blue (with a slight pearl sheen).
Midori - bright green (with a slight pearl sheen).
Tako - matte white.

Dollipop, Afterparty and Midori also have a tendency to stain.

Sugarpill eyeshadows are really good quality. The shadow texture is super smooth, which I think makes them bendable.

As much as the bright colours look awesome in the pan, they don't show up that well on my skin tone alone. I had to use a white base for their full pigment potential (more on the base in an upcoming post). But once I was able to see their full colour pay off I was so happy with these palettes.

The look on the left was created using Dollipop, Afterparty and Tako from the Sweetheart quad.
I felt very 80s with the bright eyeshadow and my high ponytail.

The look on the right was created using the Burning Heart quad and Afterparty from the Sweetheart quad. I felt like a tropical plant/bird with this makeup.

PACKAGING

The quad comes with a removable sleeve, it has an adorable animation on the cover, a blurb about the quad and the ingredients on the back.

It comes with a mirror, which makes it great for taking it on the go if you need to touch up your eyeshadow.

On the back of the palettes, there is an image of the name/colours of the shadows inside.

The best part of the whole Sugarpill experience was meeting creator Amy Doan. I wrote about meeting her in my IMATS post here.
