ORIGINAL SOURCE body wash

Hey dolls,

I've seen quite a few people using these soaps but never thought of picking one up myself.

Tesco had them going half price, so thought what better time to try it. But I couldn't just choose one, so I got 3.

From the image you can clearly see which one is my favourite.
I've been using these for a couple weeks now, just so I could really see how I feel about these soaps.

These soaps smells amazing! Lemon and Lime are so fresh and those kinds of smells first thing in the morning really do wake you up.

Pink Grapefruit smells like sweets, doesn't smell like fruit at all. But I don't care. I smell good enough to eat when I use this.

The only problem I have with these soaps is that they don't lather up as much as I like.

 Pink Grapefruit - £1.10
MY FAVOURITE! And it makes me sad that its only seasonal :(

 Lime - £1.10
Are limes less pungent than lemons? Cos this soap was made with 40 real limes, whereas the lemon one was made with 10 real lemons? Random thought for you all there haha.

Lemon and Tea Tree - £1.10
This one may be my least favourite, it smells lovely but I think the tea tree is throwing me off. If you happen to have a chance to go and smell this you'll see what I mean.

What are your favourite Original Source scents?

"We're men, we're men in tights...YES!"

Hey dolls,

So its been a while since I did a DVD purchases post. I haven't been buying many DVDS the last few months. I found this hole in the wall shop while in Romford and they had some old favourites of mine that you don't see everywhere, unless you're online. They were on a good deal 2 for £5.

 Magic in the Water
As a kid I managed to find these obscure movies and fall in love with them. Magic in the water is no exception. Its a random movie about a girl who discovers this magical water creature (hence the title lol). It also stars a young Joshua Jackson.
BASEketball
This movie comes from the creators of South Park and Team America. Slapstick comedy about a couple of friends who decide to create a new sport. It's a mix of Baseball and Basketball. I you've watched South Park you'll understand the kind of humour this movie contains.

So I married an axe murderer
Old school Mike Myers, in between his Wayne's World fame and many moons before his Austin Powers and Shrek fame. It's basically about a guy that falls in love with a woman who's previous husbands have all died suspiciously.

Robin Hood - men in tights
A spoof of the classic Robin Hood movie. Quite funny and some interesting musical numbers.

Scarves! Scarves! Scarves!

Hey dolls,

I have been loving scarves at the moment. For fashion and hair accessory purposes. As it's summer right now and I ain't about having my hair down, I've been using the top 2 as hair ties and all 3 as fashion accessories to spruce up an outfit.

All of these scarves are from my beloved Avon.

Top to Bottom:

Abbie Scarf - £3.99
(woven scarf with pink, blue and grey floral print). The floral print kinda has a Japanese vibe to me.
Kaitlin scarf - £3.99
A red scarf with white butterfly and heart print.

Paisley Scarf - £6
Rose pink scarf with a paisley print.

Barry M nail paint - Gelly Hi Shine - GREEN BERRY

Hey dolls,

Final post on the Barry M gelly polishes. I end this long series of posts with Green Berry. A minty aqua green shade. Follows suit with the rest of these polishes as its super bright with the amazing high shine finish.

I think I've raved about these polishes enough now, so I'll do a quick round up of why I like them:
  • Glossy high shine finish
  • Bright colours
  • Dry fast
  • Good longevity

Barry M nail paint - Gelly Hi Shine - KEY LIME

Hey dolls,

Back again with another post on the Gelly nail paints from Barry M.

A bright lime/mustard green shade.

Out of all the gelly paints I have I'd have to say that Key Lime and Lychee are the more subdued colours I have in my collection, still bright but not as in your face as the others.

The more I use these polishes the more the whole opaque in "one coat"  thing is becoming a myth lol. I'm finding I need 2 coats for it to be completely opaque and not streaky. But don't get it twisted I still love these polishes.

Random side note: Is it me or does it look like the green monster from Ghostbusters sneezed on my thumb haha. You know the one I mean...

SLIMER
Well this post has taken a weird turn haha. And on that note I'm gonna leave it here.

I hope you are all enjoying the gorgeous weather we're having in England at the moment.

Barry M nail paint - Gelly Hi Shine - PASSION FRUIT

Hey dolls,

Another addition to the Barry M gelly collection.
The way I would describe this colour is a mix up of red, coral and pink. Beautifully vibrant and so perfect for summer. I love how "juicy" my nails look with this polish.

Barry M nail paint - Gelly Hi Shine - LYCHEE

Hey dolls,

Lychee
£3.99

I'm seriously lovin these gelly polishes, they are becoming a firm favourite.

This shade isn't loved as much as the other two mainly because it’s kind of out of my comfort zone, but I do like it.

I may have mentioned this before but us darker skinned ladies shouldn't be afraid to attempt the more nude shades of the colour spectrum. My nails look all sophisticated with this shade on. The colour reminds me of a pair of Christian Louboutins that I want (but could never afford).

I'm not gonna go on about the greatness of these polishes, because I think I outlined everything in the last two posts I did on these. But if you're looking for some new polishes I would for sure go out and pick up a few of these beauts. Superdrug still has a 3 for 2 deal going on all nail products.

MUA Undress Me Too

Hey dolls,

I got this palette when I got the Undressed palette from Superdrug. You can see the post on this palette here. Like the Undressed palette I knew that not all the shades would be suitable for my skin tone. But there some good ones in this palette that I'm gonna get some good use out of. Like the original palette I'm also going to buy a duplicate palette for my make up kit.

I'm really excited to try out some looks with these. This is a dupe for Urban Decay's Naked 2 palette. So if you're on a budget and don't have the funds for a £30 palette I would definitely advise you to go out and get this gem. 12 shadows for £4 - BARGAIN!

 UPDATE 5/5/14:
I was looking at this palette and for some reason was inspecting the back of the packaging. I realised that there actually are names for the eyeshadows. #FAIL on my part.

Top row: Naked, Devotion, Shy, Fiery, Lavish, Dreamy
Bottom row: Tranquil, Exposed, Reveal Wink, Obsessed, Corrupt

NOTD - Cobalt Disco

Hey dolls,

Been changing up my nails a lot lately, since I have nails again, (this seems to be a continuous battle me trying to keep my nails long). I've fallen hard and fast for the Barry M gelly nail polishes. I recently purchased a few more for the collection, so keep any eye out for those in upcoming posts.

Cobalt blue nails with a glittery signature nail.

Barry M nail paints
Blue Glitter - £2.99
Blue Grape Gelly Hi Shine - £3.99

For the signature nail I used Blue grape as a base for Blue Glitter. It really made the colour pop.

The pics are not doing the blue glitter justice. When it hits the light it looks like crushed sapphires on my nails :)

Taste the Rainbow NOTD

Hey dolls,

If you follow me on instagram you would've seen me upload a NOTD photo. I just felt like doing something fun.

My nails kind of remind me of skittles like this.

The polishes used:
OPI - The Thrill of Brazil
Barry M - Spring Green
Barry M - Cyan Blue
Avon (Arabian Glow collection) - Sunshine

Barry M nail paint - Gelly Hi Shine - GUAVA

Hey dolls,

Guava
£3.99

This is such a gorgeous turquoise shade. Its that kind of blue that reminds me of the colour of the water that you'd see in Egypt or the Caribbean.

The only odd thing about this polish is the name, considering the actual colour of a Guava.

These gelly polishes are defo gonna get a lot of wear this summer.

The longevity is great - I wore this for 3 days before I saw any substantial chips. I love the formula of the polishes and how shiny the finish is, even some top coats I've used don't have the same effect. I don't know why but I just feel my nails look a lot better with these polishes on, maybe its because of how shiny it is or that it kinda makes my nails look like candy but whatever it is I'm loving it.

In my last post I said that I was gonna  add to this collection, and as superdrug currently have a 3 for 2 on all nail products right now I'll be adding to the collection sooner than I thought :)
