NYX MATTE LIP CREAMS
I swear, every time I start a blog post I have a story to go a long with it. Well today is no different, haha.
Me and my little sister arranged a little makeup shopping trip to Westfield (Stratford). She was on the hunt for a new foundation (you can see what I purchased here) and some new lip products. I took her into the NYX store because they have such a good range of colours/finishes and are super affordable.
I've not used a ton of NYX lip products before, I've used their butter lipsticks and gloss which I am a fan of. I have also tried their lingerie liquid lipsticks, which I don't really care for.

Monte Carlo - a warm medium chocolate brown. This shade is perfect for me on the days when I want a natural/nude look. I use MAC chestnut lip liner with this lip colour.
Berlin - a deep cranberry red. It's a great addition to my collection. I bought Cherry Skies liner to use alongside this lip colour.
Cherry Skies - a deep berry. I'm really impressed with this lip liner. It's soft and didn't make my lips feel dry. It glides along the lips so nicely, it doesn't tug like some liners do, I was able to fill in my lips with no problems.
The lip creams have a mousse like consistency and dries down to a matte finish.
They feel super comfortable on the lips, and don't make the lips feel dry or anything. It's so lightweight and doesn't feel like you're wearing much product.
They come with a doe foot applicator, which are my favourite type of applicator for lip products, they make application easy.
For the lip cream to be fully opaque I have to do 2 coats.

BE GONE MAKEUP REMOVER WIPES
After swatching all the lipsticks, the sales assistant gave us a makeup wipe to clean up. It took the makeup off so well (and quickly) that I threw a packet into my basket. I usually buy Simple makeup wipes,I have done for years and rarely use anything else. But I was happily surprised with how well these worked.
