I swear, every time I start a blog post I have a story to go a long with it. Well today is no different, haha.

Me and my little sister arranged a little makeup shopping trip to Westfield (Stratford). She was on the hunt for a new foundation (you can see what I purchased here) and some new lip products. I took her into the NYX store because they have such a good range of colours/finishes and are super affordable.

I am forever trying out different eyeshadows, they tend to mostly be neutrals. But once in a while I like to use bright colours, but if you are a WOC you know the struggle of finding bright shadows pigmented enough to show up on our skin. Bright colours just end up looking patchy and lacking colour. 

I'd seen a few people use this pencil as a base, and it seemed to help colour show up way better. So I decided to try it for myself.

IMATS LONDON 2015

After many years of wanting to attend, I FINALLY made it to IMATS! I don't think I can fully express how excited I was to go. 

Saturday 11th July me and my best friend Leanne made our way to South Kensington, with our purses in tow ready for the day ahead. Neither of us had been before and had no idea what to expect, but I was thoroughly surprised with what the day brought.
