DISARONNO wears VERSACE + launch party

So glad I can finally blog about this, good thing I know how to keep a secret. 

A couple of months ago I had the pleasure of finding out that Disaronno were pairing up with another fashion house...VERSACE. Bringing us the perfect gift for the fashion obsessed cocktail lovers out there. Speaking of cocktails with this awesome bottle comes a fabulous little cocktail, Disaranno Versace Sour but more on that later.

Well I'm back in the mood again and I was just so happy with how my nails look I wanted to share it o the blog. I went for a green theme and thought because of the colours chosen it'd be fitting to photograph them in the garden.

I have dedicated Sunday posts to music, as it is a big part of my life. But I wanted to share another passion of mine, which is movies/TV shows. I have an extensive DVD collection, and I thought I'd recommend a movie a week, and TV show a month on a Saturday. I hope you guys enjoy this new series. Any who, to start it off I thought I would do a little DVD haulage of some recent purchases.

I got introduced to this by Meganheartsmakeup, she was talking about how she'd seen this song performed live and was a fan. I'd never heard of Kacey Musgraves before but I really appreciated the lyrics of this song.

FASHION | ASOS CURVE WISHLIST #1

Recently I heard that ASOS Curve went up a size in their range. It now offers a size 28, happy days for the curvier ladies. It's only gone up one size, but I have to give them credit for at least increasing the size. I assumed the curve range only went up to the usual "plus size" sizes of 16/18, but was happily proven wrong.

So I decided to have a look at what the range had to offer. Here are some items that caught my eye, it's a bit monochrome but I was just having a quick glance.

SKINCARE | Daily Skincare Routine

 It's been a while since I updated my skincare routine on here, some things are still the same and there are a couple changes. If you haven't seen the post where I stated my original routine you can have a look here. 

With all the different products on the market, a skincare routine can be kind of daunting. And then all the questions that come along with starting a routine. What skin type am I? Do I use a gel or foam face wash?  Do I need to exfoliate? How often do I use an exfoliator/face mask? Should I use an eye cream? etc.

The best advice I can give you is to go and have a skin analysis done, that way you can find out your skin type/needs and have a routine mapped out for you. And from that you can then go and experiment with different brands.

I've been wanting to do this ever since I finished re-watching the series. The person I got inspired by was Taylor Momsen (Jenny Humphrey). It's Sunday, which means it's time to do a music post for you. I really love doing these, because you guys get an insight into my world of music. My music taste varies a lot, I pretty much like all styles of music. I've even come around to liking some country music, which I was dead against back in the day, dunno why.

Anyhow album of the week is the Cruel Intentions OST (Original Soundtrack). I absolutely love this movie, every time I watch it or hear the songs from it, it takes me back to a nostalgic happy place.

If you live in London, you'll know it has been pretty lovely, a bit muggy but bright.I purchased these items from plus size retailer Evans. I think the majority of my clothes come from there. When shopping at Evans I tend to only shop online, because there is more variety and more chances of getting the items I want. My local Evans always runs out of my size really quickly. WOW! My blog turned 4 yesterday. It doesn't feel like it's been that long.

My blog was something that I started randomly. My friend Stevie (one half of the velvet epidemic) was actually the reason I started blogging. I'd wanted to start a blog for a while, but just never did it. Stevie had started up a blog of her own and gave me the confidence to go for it. So this blog started as a place for me to share my passion for make up. It has since become somewhere for me to share a whole lot more. It's a very big part of my life that I love very much.

But unbeknownst to me after doing my research, I had seen some of their products via other bloggers. In particular the lipstick with the kitten head.

I wouldn't say I'm an Iggy fan, but I did enjoy her first single ALOT. I haven't really been feeling her other releases much. But as soon as the video dropped for her single "FANCY" I was hooked. The song is super catchy, I find myself signing the chorus all the time. The voice behind the chorus is Charli XCX. I got the pleasure of seeing Charli XCX open for Paramore last year.

COPYCAT MAKEUP: Kendall Jenner

I love when I can look at someones make up and be completely inspired. Scrolling through Instagram I came across this image of Kendall Jenner. Her make up was so simple yet she looked absolutely gorgeous. And I just had to recreate it. I posted my take on the look on my Instagram page. Now I am gonna show you what I used to do it.

 Luckily I had some random gems in my make up kit, that were perfect for the look. And the same colour. I used them previously in my Carnival look.
