Avon Haul C6

Hi dolls,

So its that time again...its Avon haul time :)

Trying to take the pictures for this blog post was an epic fail. I did my best but I am in need of a new camera.

Nail Experts Strong Results - £1.50
I bought this to see if it could help me on my journey to grow my nails and keep them strong and healthy. I haven't had it long enough to say if it works, but like I said in my previous NOTD post I will be doing a nail growth journey update. You use this just like you would a normal nail polish. Every time I change my nail colour this goes on before any polish.

Nail Experts Grow Potion - £2.50
This was bought in conjunction with the Strong results to help my nails grow,  it comes with a doe foot applicator and you rub this on the nails and cuticle area and massage it in. Once I have used it for long enough I will say if it works or not. It will most likely be talked about in my nail growth journey. I put this on before the Strong results, let it soak in and then apply the strong results and the polishes Im using on that occasion.

Moisture seduction lip gloss - Pearly Pink - £3.50
This was a re-purchase, because I LOVE this lip gloss, its so pigmented and bright..It doesn't dry out my lips. I wanted to get this before it went up to full price (£7).

Ultra Rich Colordisiac lipstick - Rose addiction - £1.50
This lipstick is lovely and I absolutely love the packaging :) I got this so I could have a nice not so intense lipstick for the day  time. Most of my lipstick fall under the same colour umbrella deep reds, wine, berry etc (as you will see from the lipstick below) so this will be a nice somewhat natural colour for the day.

Kiss 'n' go lipstick - Terracotta - £1
Rich, creamy and moisturising lipstick that is in my comfort zone of colours. I have quite a few color trend lipsticks and if you've seen previous posts they are quite similar in colour, but hey ho when you find something you like you kinda stick with it, like when you see girls that love nude lipsticks. Its just what I like, especially with my skin tone, these colours work very well.

SuperShock gel liner pencil - £3
Again another re-purchase. I love this eyeliner and it was going at half price so I thought what the hell, I might as well get it now and have a back up for when the one I'm using  runs out, which will be soon as I use it EVERY time I wear make up.

Swatches: Top to bottom
SuperShock gel liner pencil
Kiss 'n' go lipstick - Terracotta
Ultra Rich Colordisiac lipstick - Rose addiction - its showing up a lot darker in the picture than what it is, it is very much what it says on the tin, a rose colour.
Salerio necklace - £6
When I saw this necklace I was like I HAVE to have this. Its so pretty and right up my street. And I love the fact that you can change the pearls inside.
Interchangeable pearls to match your outfits

Lipsy London clutch bag - £8
A simple black patent leather clutch with...now which animal do I describe this as? haha croc or snake?...I'm gonna go with snake skin effect. This was originally a birthday present for my friend but it wasn't quite to her taste, so I say waste not want not. And I love it, its gonna be something I use on a night out/

AVON C15 Haul

Hola,

So I'm finally blogging about Septembers Avon haul :)

I didn't get as much as I usually do from Avon, But lets get cracking...

You may have seen me tweet about this bag, cos I couldn't contain my excitement about it haha.

Its a Kylee bag , it is a gorgeous faux leather handbag. Its very spacious and I love the chain link straps.- £12.50

I got another Christian Lacroix perfume the fragrance is called Nuit (for her EDP 50ml) and it has a very musky full bodied scent (I hope you like my attempts at a description haha) - it came with a free watch which was purple but I gave it to my mum before I took a picture of it (doh!) - £14
Glazewear Sparkle Lip Gloss- Shimmering Amethyst
A gorgeous shimmery pink lip gloss, that is very pigmented. - £2.10
Color Trend Sweet Twist Lip Gloss - Berries and Cream
OMG! This stuff actually smells like candy, every time I smell it I want to eat it. The colour is another pink but its not shimmery and a bit more opaque than than Shimmering amethyst.- £3.50
AVON Supershock eyeliner - Shimmering Sapphire -
This is a really nice gel liner. Its a little difficult to get on a soft brush that AVON provide you need a stiff-ish brush like the MAC 208. Its not overpowering when you put it on the eye and its very smooth and doesn't come out chunky or clumpy. - £2.80
Swatches of the lip glosses and gel liner. Bottom to top: Shimmering Amethyst, Berries and Cream and Shimmering Sapphire.
AVON SuperShock mascara - Black
This really lengthens my lashes and I love it. Only problem is that my lashes become a bit like "spider lashes" so when I apply I use a clean mascara wand and run through my lashes :) - £3.50
All Over Face Brush
This brush is so frickin soft. I use it to apply my face powder.- £3.50
Perfect Wear Make up Remover
This is an oil based make up remover. Its like the Clinique take the day off makeup remover for lids, lashes & lips, but a WHOLE lot cheaper.I got it on a deal for an INCREDIBLE - £1
Pencil Sharpener - pretty self explanatory haha
£1

Hope you all enjoyed this post :)

INGLOT Haul and Review

Hi guys,

Again I am so so sorry for not posting any make up blogs, been very busy with college work.

So finally, as you can tell from the title I am now going to do my review of the Inglot stuff I bought like 2 months ago haha.

So on the 18th November me and some of the girls went to the Inglot store in Westfields in Shepherd's Bush. They were holding a student discount day specifically for my college, we were getting 20% off.

So when me and my friend got to the store it had been closed off to the public and only us students were allowed in, and they welcomed us at the door and had drinks laid out, I felt very VIP haha, especially when people walked by and were looking like "Oh whats going in there?".

All the palettes I got were from the freedom system. That consists of types of different palettes, you can see the palettes I'm talking about here. I got the 10 , 5 and 4 space palette.

So when you start choosing your make up you get this magnetic board, you then take and go round and the freedom system collection of make up which consists of eyeshadow, contour powder, bronzer, concealer, foundation and lipstick. When you see an item you want you pick it up and stick them on the palette. Once you've sorted through all the makeup...which was quite daunting because there was so much make up, the store assistants will sort your stuff into your palettes and put them together for you. They are so nice and helpful in there and very accommodating and they offer so much information.

As I walked in there I was like a kid in a candy store, I was really giddy walking around the shop haha. I love Inglot the brand is absolutely amazing. I think they may take the place of MAC as my favourite high end brand.

Eyeshadow palette - £35

Top left to right: #379, 418, 491, 60,30
Bottom left to right: #70, 415, 50, 55, 10

Swatches
These eye shadows are sublime, they are so pigmented and they blend so well. They are definitely worth the money paid for them. I basically paid £3.50 per eyeshadow, I think that's pretty bloody brilliant, for such high quality products. :o)

Lipstick - £15

Left to right: #34, 58, 03, 02, 89

Swatches

Just like they eye shadows, these lipsticks are very pigmented and I find quite nourishing on the lips. I have found with some lipsticks they can be quite drying on the lips, but I haven't had this problem with these. And they last a long time too. :o)

Blush - £26

Left to right: #40, 38, 27, 29

Swatches - the blushes back to front: #29, 27, 38, 40
Matte Black gel eyeliner - £8

I don't know who designed this eyeliner but oh my word, this stuff does not budge, it is the best gel eyeliner I have used in a long time, I'd say its even better than the Bobbi Brown and MAC gel liners. Normal eye make up remover wont do the trick when it comes to removing this unless it is oil based, otherwise you will be scrubbing at your eyes FOREVER probably until they are a bit sore. I found the best product to remove it with is Johnson's baby oil.

#77

Soft precision pencil eyeliner - £6
This is your standard kohl eye pencil, its very good and glides on nicely. Its really good for creating a 1920s smoky eye look, or just lining the eyes.

#20
Fluffy blending brush - £13

Great quality brushes, for a really good price and its so soft. Great for blending (obviously lol) and placing colour all over the lid.

#6SS

Under eye brush - £8

Again good quality brush for a decent price and very soft. This brush is for getting right underneath the eye especially when trying to apply shadow to under the lower lash line.

#13P

And last but by no means last...

DUO adhesive - £7

An old reliable when it comes to applying lashes, strip or individual.

I have only two complaints Inglot and its not even about the products its about the brand. Inglot products don't have names, they just have letters and numbers, which kinda sucks. I hate that, I like the names brands come of with for their items. Another thing is that you cant order online, and that's a bit of a pain in the butt because I have to travel like an hour and a half to get to Inglot :(

All of these products cost me £94.90 half of my budget, so my mum and credit card were very happy that day lol.

Hope you enjoyed this blog post :0) sorry for all the rambling haha
