this film is frickin hilarious and I got it on a good deal cos HMV is having a sale. If you like Shaun of the dead or Hot Fuzz, you'll love this film :)

Breaking Dawn part 1 - £12.99 

I LOVE the twilight movies and this has to be my favourite one out of all of them (this will probably change once I see the the final one. I love the fact that I got the limited edition version with the 3D outer sleeve :)

Avon Haul C6

Hi dolls,

So its that time again...its Avon haul time :)

Trying to take the pictures for this blog post was an epic fail. I did my best but I am in need of a new camera.

Nail Experts Strong Results - £1.50
I bought this to see if it could help me on my journey to grow my nails and keep them strong and healthy. I haven't had it long enough to say if it works, but like I said in my previous NOTD post I will be doing a nail growth journey update. You use this just like you would a normal nail polish. Every time I change my nail colour this goes on before any polish.

Nail Experts Grow Potion - £2.50
This was bought in conjunction with the Strong results to help my nails grow,  it comes with a doe foot applicator and you rub this on the nails and cuticle area and massage it in. Once I have used it for long enough I will say if it works or not. It will most likely be talked about in my nail growth journey. I put this on before the Strong results, let it soak in and then apply the strong results and the polishes Im using on that occasion.

Moisture seduction lip gloss - Pearly Pink - £3.50
This was a re-purchase, because I LOVE this lip gloss, its so pigmented and bright..It doesn't dry out my lips. I wanted to get this before it went up to full price (£7).

Ultra Rich Colordisiac lipstick - Rose addiction - £1.50

This lipstick is lovely and I absolutely love the packaging :) I got this so I could have a nice not so intense lipstick for the day  time. Most of my lipstick fall under the same colour umbrella deep reds, wine, berry etc (as you will see from the lipstick below) so this will be a nice somewhat natural colour for the day.

Kiss 'n' go lipstick - Terracotta - £1

Rich, creamy and moisturising lipstick that is in my comfort zone of colours. I have quite a few color trend lipsticks and if you've seen previous posts they are quite similar in colour, but hey ho when you find something you like you kinda stick with it, like when you see girls that love nude lipsticks. Its just what I like, especially with my skin tone, these colours work very well.

SuperShock gel liner pencil - £3

Again another re-purchase. I love this eyeliner and it was going at half price so I thought what the hell, I might as well get it now and have a back up for when the one I'm using  runs out, which will be soon as I use it EVERY time I wear make up.

Ultra Rich Colordisiac lipstick - Rose addiction - its showing up a lot darker in the picture than what it is, it is very much what it says on the tin, a rose colour.

When I saw this necklace I was like I HAVE to have this. Its so pretty and right up my street. And I love the fact that you can change the pearls inside.

Lipsy London clutch bag - £8

A simple black patent leather clutch with...now which animal do I describe this as? haha croc or snake?...I'm gonna go with snake skin effect. This was originally a birthday present for my friend but it wasn't quite to her taste, so I say waste not want not. And I love it, its gonna be something I use on a night out/

I love doing tags. So I found this one on Foxy Unique's blog and thought I would do it :)

 

1. What's your favourite song?
I couldn’t say a favourite song cos the list would go on and on. But a song I am loving at the moment is “30 Seconds to Mars – Hurricane”, the MTV unplugged version. I just LOVE Jared Leto’s voice. 

 

 

2. How often do you wear fake eyelashes?
I don’t really wear eyelashes. I think the last time I wore lashes was Halloween October 2010, I have a post on it here.

 

 

3. Pencil, Gel or Liquid Eyeliner?
I LOVE gel liner. I use MAC blacktrack fluidline for my winged liner and AVON SuperShock gel liner pencil for my waterline.

 

 

4. What do you feel is your best feature?
I think my best feature is my lips :)

 

5. Whose wardrobe would you love to own?
Ooooh this is a tough one. I’ve kinda fallen out of the fashion loop recently so I couldn’t really say. I don’t hate Lucy Mecklenburgh.

 

6. Would you ever consider having plastic surgery?
Would laser eye surgery be classed as plastic surgery? I always contemplated it but I couldn’t risk something going wrong or it reversing itself a few years down the line or even worse me going blind :/

7. Whats the one piece of clothing you couldnt live without?
I love my warm cosy dressing gown, I always wear it around the house, its soft and snuggly.

8. Whats you favourite drink? (alcoholic/non alcoholic)
I LOVE KA Tropical punch.

9. What country would you love to go to on holiday?
Australia, I’ve always wanted to go there.

10. What's the next piece of makeup you plan on buying?
Real Technique brushes (gotta save up cos I’m just gonna buy the whole set at once) and some products from MUA.

11. Whats your favourite ever smell?
Cerruti 1881 Femme EDT and Lancome Tresor EDP

Avon haul - C5

Hey guys,

So I'm back again with an Avon haul, I'm not gonna apologise for having another haul from them up again because I really do like their products and I'm not really loving the stuff in shops at the moment, and if I do I cant afford it haha. So I'm really hoping to get that job I interviewed for yesterday.

 Manilla Weekender bag - £9.80

I love this bag, I'm gonna be using it as a handbag sometimes cos its just so cute and I love the the way it closes, I cant remember what its called.

Pure O2 (for her EDT spray) - £4.99

This perfume smells gorgeous. It smells like a perfume I've smelt before but I really cant remember what it is, don't you hate when that happens?

Mediterranean Olive Oil with Orange Flower body scrub - FREE

 When you ordered the Pure 02 perfume you got this gorgeous scrub or free. I'd already talked about this in another blog post when my sister gave me hers. My mum liked it so much I gave her mine cos I don't need 2.

 ColorTrend Winter Wonderland lip balm - Strawberry Sorbet - £1

OMG! This smells so good. It smells and tastes like a sweet I had as a kid, but again memory has failed me and I don't know hat its called haha. (I didn't lick my lips, when I inhaled I could taste it)

 Christian Lacroix Absynthe toiletries bag - £1.50

This is what it says on the tin haha just a little toiletries bag, but I like the design on it.

 ColorTrend Read My Dazzling Lips lipgloss - Dazzling Watermelon - £1.25

This is a a simple pink lipgloss, but it is pigmented, its not quite opaque but its not sheer either. Something nice for everyday.

 

 ColorTrend weet Twist lip gloss - Berries and Cream - £1

I've purchased this before and I'm not sure if its being discontinued.as it hasn't been in the last few catalogues so I thought I'd pick it up.

I got these because the last one I tried in the shade Earth was too dark for my skin tone, so I got the next 2 shades up. I hope these work cos I'd love a lightweight foundation to wear. Especially at the low price it is from Avon. I used to wear my MAC Studio fix fluid foundation in NC50 but that foundation is so THICK I feel like my skin is suffocating.

Naturals Vanilla moisturising body scrub - £1.05

Naturals Strawberry moisturising body scrub - £1.05

These smell amazing, the vanilla smell is very potent and the strawberry one smells like a milkshake, yum :)

Its quite a fine scrub not coarse at all. I cant wait to use these :)

So yesterday I had an interview, my first one in years! So after being out of work for 6 months and job hunting almost everyday since then I was so happy that someone contacted me about an interview. This is how I wore my make up, pretty much my everyday make up as I didn't wanna go over the top.
